Live Webinar Meetings

All business is based on relationships which is why it is so important to be engaged in face-to-face communication. It is almost impossible to foster good business relationships just through email or on the phone.

There has been a mis-conception from some people that live webinars are one-way communication that doesn’t offer them a real opportunity for building those relationships. Usually this is because business people don't realise how to take advantage of the interactive components of these tools.

Research has proven that audiences quite like live webinars if they are well done and focused on the clients needs. Not having to leave their desk, or have a sales person in their office they can’t get rid of, is an attractive pro for any customer/client.

Generally the most common mistakes of live webinars are:

  • Not being relevant to the customer’s business or needs
  • Information overload, most of it being irrelevant at the early stage of the sales cycle
  • Not answering the customer’s most pressing questions in a timely manner
  • Boring presenters - The people doing the presentation are often subject matter experts but not compelling presenters

Business Boost for Live Webinar and Web Conferences

There is growing evidence to suggest that we are seeing a spike in live webinar business right across various industries. The US market is now facing a possible recession, so, business is becoming smarter in looking to how they can cut costs and still maintain contact with clients and customers. On the other side of the world the international use for live webinars has nowhere to go but up. Researchers have also been studying online conferencing futures for the Asia Pacific market as well. Opportunities are there for another $6 billion in audio conference revenues and $1.3 billion in web conference revenues.

There is a huge culture shift in the business world towards live webinars and online conferences. Many analysts confirm that the virtual world of collaboration is just about to break wide open.

By using Live Webinar conferencing, executives don’t have the outside distractions caused by a large or restless audience. The trend is growing. Surprisingly, not enough people utilize the benefits of Live Webinar conferencing as a way to communicate their messages to audiences. The advantage of not having to physically be there is effective at reaching an national or international audience.
